The Comet PA8611 is the universal network sensor for connecting a digital temperature probe or a combined temperature and humidity probe. The device offers significantly wider power supply options with 5 to 24 volts as well as native PoE support. This sensor is ideal for applications with limited access or remote measuring points where precise measurement of temperature or temperature and humidity needs to take place directly at the desired location using an external probe.
The Comet PA8611 supports up to four user accounts with different access rights, encrypted communication, and modern communication protocols. It features an improved alarm system where two independent threshold values can be set per channel. Thanks to the Ethernet interface, PoE power supply, and support for industrial protocols, the PA8611 is ideal for integration into building monitoring systems, data centers, and industrial applications.
The Comet PA8611 allows the connection of external digital temperature and humidity probes via a cable up to 30 meters in length. The power supply is provided with 5 to 24 volts or PoE according to IEEE 802.3af. The device includes an integrated backup memory and a modern web interface with IPv4 and IPv6 support, Modbus TCP, COMET Cloud, and fully encrypted communication via HTTPS, SNMPv3, and TLS. An integrated detachable holder ensures easy installation.
