The Comet PA8641 is a universal, cost-effective Ethernet sensor for connecting up to four digital temperature probes or combined temperature and humidity probes. The device uses an independent bus for each channel, allowing a cable length of up to 40 meters per input. This enables the individual probes to be positioned more flexibly and at greater distances.

The Comet PA8641 is ideal for monitoring multiple measurement points at one location, such as server rooms, technical rooms, or warehouses. Like other models, it offers a modern web interface, top-level security standards including the option to upload custom certificates for HTTPS and TLS communication, and PoE support. The device automatically detects and replaces probes of the same type, greatly simplifying maintenance and calibration.

The Comet PA8641 supports power supply via 5 to 24 volts or PoE according to IEEE 802.3af. It features an integrated backup memory and a modern web interface with IPv4 and IPv6 support, Modbus TCP, COMET Cloud, as well as fully encrypted communication via HTTPS, SNMPv3, and TLS. An integrated removable holder ensures easy installation.
