The COMET SN164E is a professional Pt1000 surface temperature probe with ELKA connector – specially designed for precise contact measurement of surface temperature on pipes, plates, machinery, heat exchangers, radiators, tanks, or anywhere temperature needs to be measured directly on the surface. With a measuring range of –50 to +200 °C and high Class A accuracy (±(0.15 + 0.002 × t) °C), it is perfectly suited for heating, cooling, HVAC, solar, process, and machine monitoring – even in humid or demanding environments.

The flat brass housing (Ø 19.5 mm, height 6 mm) with two M4 mounting holes (Ø 4.3 mm) ensures optimal thermal contact and secure installation. The Pt1000 sensor (3850 ppm/°C) is configured in a 2-wire circuit and connected with a shielded silicone cable – heat-resistant, flexible, and chemically stable. Installation & use – simple and quick

Fasten the probe securely to the surface with two M4 screws (flat housing ensures excellent thermal contact), plug the ELKA connector into the COMET device – done. The silicone cable is flexible and heat-resistant, and IP65 protection allows for use in humid environments. Calibration remains stable over time.
