The COMET PTS350A-5/E is a professional Pt1000 pipe surface probe with ELKA connector – specially designed for fast and precise contact measurement of pipe and line surface temperatures in heating, cooling, HVAC, solar, and process systems. With a measuring range of –30 to +130 °C and high Class A accuracy (±(0.15 + 0.002 × t) °C), it is ideal for continuous use on pipes, lines, tanks, heat exchangers, or radiators – wherever temperature needs to be measured directly on the surface, without complex installation.

The probe features a robust, corrosion-resistant stainless-steel housing with an optimized contact surface for excellent thermal transfer. The shielded cable (silicone or PVC, depending on version) is flexible, temperature-resistant, and chemically durable. The ELKA connector ensures a secure, quick, and vibration-resistant connection to COMET instruments, transmitters, controllers, or data loggers. The IP67 housing reliably protects against dust and water jets – even during intensive cleaning or in humid environments.

Installation & use – simple and quick

Fix the probe firmly onto the pipe or surface with cable ties, adhesive tape, or a clamp, then plug the ELKA connector into the COMET device – done. The optimized contact surface ensures excellent thermal transfer. The silicone/PVC cable is flexible and durable. With IP67 protection, the probe is also suitable for humid environments. Calibration remains stable over time.
