The COMET SN239E is a professional cryogenic Pt1000 temperature probe with an ELKA connector – specially developed for safe and precise operation at extremely low temperatures down to –190 °C. Whether for liquid nitrogen (LN₂), cryostats, deep-freeze storage, cryogenic technology, research laboratories, biobanks, medical devices, or industrial low-temperature processes – this probe reliably and stably measures temperatures from –190 to +150 °C with the highest Class A accuracy (±(0.15 + 0.002 × t) °C).

The measuring tip, made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel (DIN 1.4301 or 1.4571), is tapered and robust enough for direct insertion into media or surfaces. The shielded silicone cable is cryo-flexible, heat- and cold-resistant, and chemically durable. The ELKA connector ensures a secure, fast, and vibration-resistant connection to COMET instruments, transmitters, data loggers, or controllers. The IP67 housing provides reliable protection against dust and water jets – even during intensive use in humid or condensation-prone cryogenic environments.

The probe is maintenance-free, long-term stable, and available with a traceable calibration certificate (according to EN ISO/IEC 17025) – ensuring top quality for critical applications. Installation & operation – safe & simple

Insert the probe into the medium or fix it onto the surface, plug the ELKA connector into the COMET device – done. The silicone cable is cryo-flexible and durable, while IP67 protection allows use in humid or condensation-prone environments. For optimal measurement, insert the probe deeply enough to fully immerse the measuring tip.
