The COMET SN270E is a robust Pt1000 temperature probe specifically designed for flue gas and exhaust measurement in chimneys, stoves, wood gasifiers, pellet boilers, oil and gas burners, and industrial exhaust systems. With a measuring range of –50 to +400 °C (short-term up to +450 °C at the probe tip) and Class A high accuracy (±(0.15 + 0.002 × t) °C up to +250 °C), it provides precise readings even in high-temperature and aggressive gas environments – ideal for chimney sweepers, heating engineers, energy consultants, and plant operators.

The sensing tip is made of corrosion‑resistant stainless steel DIN 1.4301 (Ø 6 ± 0.1 mm, length 90/130 mm) with a spacer ring (Ø 8 mm) for direct installation into exhaust pipes. The shielded Teflon cable (2 × 0.22 mm², 1 meter) is temperature‑resistant up to +260 °C and chemically resistant to flue gases, condensate, and acids. The ELKA connector ensures secure and quick connection to COMET measuring devices, data loggers, or transmitters. IP64 protection safeguards against dust and splashing water – even in humid or dusty environments during intensive use.

Installation & Use – Safe & Simple

Install the probe into the exhaust pipe via a threaded opening or fitting (the spacer ring maintains the correct position), plug the ELKA connector into the COMET device – done. The Teflon cable is heat‑resistant up to +260 °C, and IP64 protection allows safe use in humid exhaust environments. Check the maximum temperature before operation.
