The COMET W3911 is a professional battery-powered LoRaWAN sensor for external digital temperature and humidity probes (DIGIL/E series) – the ideal IoT solution for wireless, energy-efficient remote monitoring of climate and air quality in warehouses, cold storage, server rooms, cleanrooms, greenhouses, technical centers, or production halls. With IP65 protection and up to 10 years of battery life (depending on transmission interval), it is perfectly suited for long-term applications in harsh environments – without power or network cabling.

The external DIGIL/E probe measures temperature from –30 to +105 °C (±0.4 °C) and humidity from 0 to 100 %RH (±1.8 %RH in the range 0–90 % at 23 °C). Dew point is calculated automatically. All values are transmitted wirelessly via LoRaWAN (Europe 863–870 MHz) at adjustable intervals (5 min to 24 h) to the COMET Cloud, where charts, data exports, alarms, and remote configuration via app or browser are available. Two configurable alarm limits per parameter with push notifications help prevent hazardous conditions. The probe can be replaced without recalibration – supplied with a traceable calibration certificate.

The IP65 enclosure protects against dust and water jets – ideal for indoor and outdoor use. The integrated, replaceable battery lasts 3–10 years depending on transmission interval. No wiring required – easy installation and commissioning. The COMET Cloud is included free for 1 year (then 1 credit/year) with data storage and alarm management. An optional preconfigured LoRaWAN gateway is available – ready for immediate cloud connectivity.
