The COMET T4311 is a universal high-precision temperature transmitter for demanding industrial applications using external Pt1000/3850ppm sensors. With its wide measuring range from –200 to +600 °C, it covers nearly any temperature measurement task – from cryogenics and standard storage to high-temperature furnaces and drying processes.
The waterproof IP65 housing and robust design make the T4311 the perfect choice for harsh environments such as chemical plants, food production, refrigeration and HVAC systems, mechanical engineering, laboratories, and research facilities. The electronics operate reliably from –30 to +80 °C.
Through the RS232 interface with Modbus RTU protocol (and Advantech ADAM compatibility), the T4311 can be easily integrated into any PLC, SCADA, or building automation system. The large dual-line LCD clearly displays the current temperature in °C or °F and can be turned off during continuous operation to save energy.
Thanks to advanced computer-supported design, the T4311 ensures exceptional long-term stability and reliable sensor fault detection. Accuracy is ±0.2 °C (without probe) and resolution is 0.1 °C – precision at its finest.

Installation – quick & safe
Mount the device on a wall or machine using two screws, connect the Pt1000 probe, power, and RS232 – done. The large cable gland and spring terminals make installation fast and easy.
