The COMET P8653 is the versatile PoE WebSensor (P-Line) with two channels for external temperature and humidity probes, an integrated flood detector LD-81, and three binary inputs – the ultimate solution for comprehensive, secure monitoring in server rooms, technical rooms, warehouses, production halls, clean rooms, or anywhere temperature, humidity, and water leakage must be monitored simultaneously. Thanks to Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af), it only requires a single network cable for both data and power – making installation simpler and more cost-effective.
The two external probes (DSxx series, sold separately) measure temperature and humidity at different locations – up to +105 °C and 0–100 %RH. The integrated flood detector LD-81 (2.5 m cable) immediately detects water leakage and triggers an alarm. The three binary inputs (two freely usable) allow connection of additional sensors (door contacts, motion sensors, switches, etc.). All values are digitally processed and transmitted over Ethernet in real time.
The integrated web interface and COMET Cloud (3 months free, then 1 Credit/year) offer graphs, exports, alarms, and remote access via app or browser. Alternatively, Modbus TCP, SNMP, JSON, or XML can be used for your own SCADA/BMS/IoT solution. The P8653 is robust, maintenance-free, and designed for continuous industrial operation – made by COMET.
