The COMET U3631 is a robust and versatile data logger with internal temperature and humidity sensors plus an input for an external Pt1000 temperature probe – the ideal solution for precise long-term monitoring and documentation of ambient and process temperature in cold chains, storage areas, climate chambers, cold rooms, server rooms, greenhouses, pharmaceutical production, or anywhere internal and external temperature must be measured simultaneously. The internal sensors measure temperature from -30 to +70 °C (±0.4 °C) and humidity from 0 to 100 %RH (±1.8 %RH). Dew point is automatically calculated (-60 to +70 °C, ±1.5 °C at T<25 °C and RH>30 %). The external Pt1000 input measures -90 to +260 °C (±0.2 °C from -50 to +100 °C, ±0.2 % of the reading above this range, ±0.4 % from -90 to -50 °C). The acoustic and optical alarm (buzzer + LED) provides an instant warning when freely adjustable thresholds are exceeded. Min/Max values are recorded. The backlit LCD display is easy to read, and the measurement/alarm update interval can be adjusted (1 s, 10 s, 1 min). The logger operates autonomously with a 3.6 V AA lithium battery – service life several years depending on the interval. No power supply required – ideal for fixed or mobile use.
