The Akuvox AV-E18C is the video intercom with facial recognition. It combines doorbell and door release in one device and opens doors via facial recognition, ID card, QR code, PIN entry, or smartphone. The 7-inch touchscreen display makes the operation simple and intuitive. The 2 megapixel camera delivers Full HD images with 1920 by 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second and is equipped with a white light LED.
The facial recognition works with an anti-spoofing algorithm that prevents photo and video deception. It recognizes faces in just 0.2 seconds with an accuracy of 99.5 percent. A real person must stand in front of the camera. Dual audio with anti‑echo function ensures crystal‑clear conversations. The door intercom supports SIP for integration into IP telephone systems and ONVIF for integration into video surveillance systems.
The weatherproof housing with protection class IP65 allows indoor and outdoor use. The product is NDAA‑compliant and therefore suitable for authorities and partners. The storage capacity covers 20,000 faces, 20,000 ID cards, and 50,000 events. The viewing angle is 62 degrees horizontally and 36 degrees vertically.
