AKCP Dual Temperature and Humidity Sensor – Professional Environmental Monitoring

With the Dual Temperature and Humidity Sensor from AKCP, you can precisely monitor both humidity and temperature and conveniently query the measured values via your network. This intelligent combination sensor occupies only a single port on your AKCP monitoring system—with a sensorProbe2 that has two sensor ports, you can connect an additional sensor and monitor up to three different environmental values simultaneously.

Technical Features and Connection

All temperature and humidity sensors are equipped with a standardized RJ-45 connector and can be easily connected to AKCP monitoring systems. The sensors are delivered pre-labeled by default and feature a practical AutoSense function. This means that the AKCP monitoring system automatically recognizes the connected sensor and configures it accordingly - environmental monitoring can thus begin immediately, without complicated setup steps.

Available Sensor Variants

The AKCP Dual Sensors for temperature and humidity are available in two different versions:

THS01 – Compact Fixed Cable Version

• Sensor with fixed 0.3 meter (1 foot) cable
• Ideal for applications in direct proximity to the monitoring system
• Compact design for space-restricted installations
• Not extendable—designed for permanent installations

THS00 – Extendable Remote Version

• Sensor with 1.5 meter (5 foot) Cat5 cable included
• Extendable up to 100 meters (330 feet) with standard Cat5 cable
• Flexible mounting even at a greater distance from the base system
• Ideal for decentralized monitoring tasks

Precise Measurement Technology and Calibration

The AKCP temperature and humidity sensors are equipped with state-of-the-art microelectronics and enable highly precise measurement of environmental parameters in IT infrastructures. The temperature measurement range extends from -55°C to +75°C (-67°F to +167°F), while humidity measurement covers the entire range from 0 to 100% relative humidity.

Measurement accuracy for temperature is ±0.5°C in the range from -10°C to +75°C for sensorProbe+ and securityProbe series. For humidity, an accuracy of ±2%RH to ±5%RH at 25°C is achieved. All sensors are factory-calibrated and ready for immediate use.

Easy Integration and Monitoring

Network-based temperature monitoring is carried out via the proven AKCP monitoring systems. Simply plug the RJ-45 connector of the sensor into a free sensor port on your sensorProbe or securityProbe system. Thanks to the AutoSense function, the sensor is automatically recognized and displayed in the web interface. You only need to configure the desired threshold and warning values and specify whether you wish to be notified of deviations by email, SMS, or SNMP trap.

Since the sensors are equipped with unique OIDs (Object Identifier), direct querying of measured values via SNMP monitoring over the network is also possible without any problems. This enables integration into existing network management systems.
