Unlike the base version, the SPX4-X10 features 10 integrated I/O dry contacts, enabling direct connection to existing building and facility technology. These dry contact interfaces can be configured as inputs for external alarm signals or as outputs to control downstream systems.

The dry contacts operate with 0VDC/5VDC signal levels, allowing seamless integration of air conditioning systems, UPS units, backup generators, fire alarm systems, and other critical infrastructure elements. SNMP integration enables seamless connection to established monitoring platforms such as Nagios, PRTG, HP OpenView, IBM Tivoli, check_MK, openITCOCKPIT, or WhatsUp Gold. All required MIB files and a specialized Nagios plugin are already included.

The central platform enables monitoring of decentralized infrastructures and provides sophisticated escalation management for critical events. All events are archived in the central database with precise time and date stamps and are available for compliance reports and trend analyses.
