The Didactum Airflow Sensor is a precise measuring instrument specifically designed for monitoring airflow and air velocity in technical and industrial environments. With a measuring range of 0 to 3 m/s, the sensor provides reliable real-time data on air movement in rooms, facilities, and equipment areas. Once connected, the sensor is automatically detected and integrated into the monitoring system – without additional calibration or software configuration. Through the web-based user interface, measurement values can be displayed in real time, thresholds defined, and alerts activated. For example, if a drop in airflow below a critical value is detected, the system can automatically trigger alarms via email, SMS, or SNMP trap or initiate predefined countermeasures.

The Didactum Airflow Sensor is not only suitable for monitoring HVAC systems but also for a wide variety of technical applications. In data centers, it supports temperature management by ensuring that cold air is evenly distributed throughout the room. For example, each cooling unit or rack can be monitored individually while all data are centrally collected and analyzed.

Another advantage is its ability for long-term data recording. By continuously logging airflow values, changes in air circulation can be identified at an early stage.
