The COMET W0911 is a robust, battery-powered LoRaWAN temperature sensor for external Pt1000 probes – the perfect IoT solution for wireless, energy-efficient remote monitoring in industry, storage, cold chains, greenhouses, technical rooms, or anywhere wiring is costly or impossible. With a measuring range of –90 to +260 °C and battery life of up to 10 years (depending on interval), it is ideal for long-term applications in harsh environments.

The sensor uses an external Pt1000 probe (sold separately or included depending on configuration) and measures with high accuracy (±0.2 °C from –90 to +100 °C; ±0.2 % of reading above that). Measured values are transmitted wirelessly via LoRaWAN (Europe 863–870 MHz) at adjustable intervals (5 min to 24 h) to the COMET Cloud – where charts, exports, alarms, and remote configuration via app or web browser are available. Two configurable alarm limits with push notifications protect against critical temperatures.

The IP65 enclosure protects against dust and water jets – ideal for outdoor or humid environments. The integrated, replaceable battery lasts 3–10 years depending on the transmission interval. No wiring, no power connection required – simply mount and start measuring. The COMET Cloud is included for 1 year free of charge (then 1 Credit/year), including data storage and alarm functions.

The W0911 is maintenance-free, long-term stable, and supplied with a traceable calibration certificate (according to EN ISO/IEC 17025) – top quality for critical monitoring applications. An optional preconfigured LoRaWAN gateway is also available – ready for immediate Cloud integration.
