The Didactum water sensor detects water by measuring an increase in capacitance between two metal poles at the detection point, all housed within a robust plastic enclosure. Unlike conventional metal-based sensors, it is protected against corrosion in the long term thanks to its low operating voltage and non-corrosive detection principle. This design makes it ideal for long-term use in environments prone to leaks and requiring reliable leak detection.

The water sensor is compatible with any analog port of the Didactum monitoring unit and can be easily integrated. Its scalability is enhanced by the sensor extension unit, allowing both the number of water level sensors and the total length of the sensor network to be expanded—ideal for industrial monitoring and demanding smart home applications.

Monitoring Water Intrusion in Server Rooms:
