The Didactum Monitoring System 550T is a compact device designed for monitoring a medium number of environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, or airflow. It offers a total of eight sensor inputs for analog measurements. Two voltage outputs (12V, 0.25A) supply alarm devices such as warning lights or sirens. Eight digital inputs capture switching signals from door and window sensors, fault contacts, and similar devices. The CAN expansion port allows you to connect combination sensors or expand the system with additional sensor ports or digital inputs.
Configurable logic schemes evaluate events such as threshold violations or door openings and notify you via SNMP trap, email notification, and, if a cellular modem is installed, also via SMS or phone call.
Configuration and operation are carried out via the integrated web interface. Data can be retrieved using the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) in versions v1, v2c, and v3. This ensures seamless integration of your Didactum Monitoring System into network management systems such as Nagios, CheckMK, or Zabbix. Custom solutions can be implemented via the web API.
The Didactum Monitoring System 550T is the optimal solution for monitoring multiple racks in a data center, but it also supports the acquisition of readings from Modbus sensors. Thus, it is also suitable for capturing values from building management systems or production environments.
The device is designed for installation in 19-inch racks and is supplied with the appropriate accessories.

Didactum Modbus RTU Expansion
This is an expansion board suitable for the Didactum Monitoring Systems 100T, 300T, 500T, and 550T. It enables monitoring of up to 32 Modbus RTU devices/meters/sensors. The maximum length of a daisy chain is up to 1000 meters.
Each reading from a Modbus device is individually addressed using input registers and displayed by the system as virtual sensors. You can configure thresholds and symbolic representations for these elements.
The plug-in board can be installed inside the monitoring unit while the unit is in operation. It features an internal termination that is enabled by default (can be disabled if needed).
