The COMET H4531 is the professional Ethernet sensor designed specifically for external Pt1000 temperature probes and equipped with two powerful relay outputs. As a true remote thermometer with control functionality, it is the ideal solution for precise temperature monitoring and direct control in industrial processes, refrigeration systems, laboratories, warehouses, heating, ventilation, or air-conditioning technology. With a measuring range of –200 to +600 °C and an accuracy of ±0.2 °C, it is perfectly suited for demanding applications where standard sensors reach their limits.

The sensor supports all common Pt1000 probes (sold separately) and converts the temperature with maximum precision into digital values (resolution 0.1 °C). The two relay outputs (max. 50 V / 2 A / 60 VA) can be freely programmed by temperature thresholds, alarms, or binary states – ideal for direct control of heaters, coolers, valves, signal lamps, or emergency shutdowns. In addition, the H4531 features three binary inputs for state detection (door contacts, motion detectors, switches, etc.).

The large dual-line LCD displays current readings and relay status. Via Ethernet (RJ45), the sensor integrates seamlessly into networks – with direct connection to the COMET Cloud (3 months free, then 1 Credit/year) for charts, exports, alarms, and remote access via app or browser.
