Temperature Sensor – Your Overheating Guardian

The Didactum temperature sensor is designed for precise detection and monitoring of ambient room temperature indoors.

It measures temperatures from -40 °C to +100 °C with an accuracy of ±0.4 °C. Thanks to its robust design and measurement stability, it is ideal for use in sensitive environments where consistent temperature monitoring is essential – such as server rooms, laboratories, or production sites.

The sensor is wired and fully compatible with all network-based monitoring and alarm systems from Didactum. Simple Installation and Integration The temperature sensor connects directly to a Didactum monitoring system using an RJ11 connector. Once connected, the system automatically detects the sensor and displays it in the web interface. Individual settings and thresholds can be configured conveniently. Measurement data is accessible both locally and remotely via the web.

Integration into network and environmental management systems such as Nagios, SNMP tools, or temperature loggers can be done easily. Multiple sensors can be combined within one system to ensure comprehensive temperature monitoring even in large infrastructures. Flexible Application Options

The package includes a 2-meter connection cable and matching mounting hardware. With an optional RJ11 patch cable, the sensor can be installed up to 100 meters away from the main unit.

This makes it ideal for monitoring temperature in large facilities, storage areas, or technical rooms. Continuous measurement ensures that up-to-date temperature values are always available, allowing early detection of critical environmental changes.

Door Contact – Every Access is Detected

The Didactum door contact sensor is a core element of modern access monitoring solutions and serves to reliably detect the open or closed state of doors, windows, or server cabinets.

It consists of a sensor element and a magnetic counterpart that together precisely register access status. The sensor can be connected to any analog input of a Didactum monitoring system and supports chaining, allowing multiple door contacts to be connected in series.

This enables simple and efficient monitoring of multiple access points. Scalable Access Control For larger installations, the number of sensors and total cable length can be extended using a Didactum sensor port expansion.

This allows flexible monitoring of multiple access points within a building or server room. The door contact sensor is particularly suited for critical infrastructure environments requiring constant access state supervision. Security in the Server Room In business environments where high availability and data protection are top priorities, the door contact sensor plays an important role in safeguarding IT infrastructure.

It detects unauthorized access or tampering attempts early and triggers corresponding alarms. Real-time status information can be viewed in the Didactum web interface or forwarded to higher-level security or management platforms.

If needed, the door contact sensor can be combined with other security devices such as a siren or notification module. In case of an alarm, an acoustic or optical alert is triggered immediately, increasing response speed and deterring potential intruders.

Installation in 10 Minutes – Very Easy

1. Place 50T on desk/wall, connect 12 V power supply
2. Connect Ethernet cable to switch
3. Connect temperature sensor → Port 1, door contact → Port 2
4. Connect siren → Relay 1 (12 V)
5. Open browser → IP (DHCP or 192.168.1.100)
6. Setup wizard: language, time zone, email/SNMP, thresholds → done!
