The HW group 1WR-Temp Flat 3m is a temperature sensor with a rod-shaped stainless-steel probe and a flat connection cable. The sensor, housed in stainless steel, is also safe to use in environments such as the pharmaceutical and food industries. Thanks to the flat connection cable, the sensor can be routed underneath the door seal of a refrigerator or freezer without impairing the seal or insulation. The sensor is designed for connection to Poseidon, Ares, HWg-STE and Perseus devices.
The sensor communicates via the 1-Wire bus and is connected to an HW-group device using an RJ11 plug. This makes it easy to integrate into existing remote monitoring systems.

How the Sensor Is Designed
The 1WR-Temp Flat 3m consists of a rod-shaped stainless-steel probe, a flat cable and an RJ11 plug for connection to an HWg device.
Stainless-Steel Measuring Tip
Temperature measurement takes place in the rod-shaped stainless-steel probe. It is classified as IP67 and is therefore dustproof and watertight, allowing it to operate reliably even in damp environments.
3-Metre Flat Cable
Instead of a round cable, the sensor uses a flat connection cable. This allows it to be routed underneath the door seals of refrigerators and freezers without making the door leak.
RJ11 Plug
An RJ11 plug is located at the end of the cable. It connects the sensor to the 1-Wire input of an HW-group device and also supplies it with 5 V.
1-Wire Bus
The measured value is transmitted digitally to the connected device via the 1-Wire bus. Depending on the device, several 1-Wire sensors can be operated together on one bus.
Compatible HWg Devices
The sensor is designed for connection to Poseidon, Ares, HWg-STE and Perseus monitoring devices and is compatible with all HW-group remote monitoring devices featuring a 1-Wire input.
