The Wall-Mounted Dual-Sensor Box with Two RJ11 Ports
The HW group HTemp-1Wire-Box2 is a wall-mountable sensor for temperature (-10 °C to +80 °C) and humidity for indoor use. Two RJ11 ports allow daisy-chaining of multiple sensors as well as connection to Poseidon, Ares and HWg-STE devices.
Clearly identifiable: Each HTemp-1Wire-Box2 has a unique identification number (ID). This means multiple sensors on the same bus are automatically detected and can be queried individually, which particularly simplifies configuration in larger installations with several measuring points.
For IT rooms, offices and warehouses: The HTemp-1Wire-Box2 is suitable for monitoring temperature and humidity in IT rooms, offices and warehouses. A 3-metre connection cable is already included in the scope of delivery.
Two Measured Values, Two RJ11 Ports
The HTemp-1Wire-Box2 combines precise measurement technology with the ability to easily connect multiple sensors in series.
Temperature Measurement
Measuring range -10 to +80 °C, accuracy ±0.8 °C, resolution 0.10 °C.
Humidity Measurement
Measuring range 0 to 100 % RH, accuracy 5 % RH in the range 2 to 80 % RH at 25 °C, non-condensing, repeatability ±0.2 % RH.

Two RJ11 jacks allow daisy-chaining of multiple sensors via a single 1-Wire line.

How the HTemp-1Wire-Box2 Is Built
The HTemp-1Wire-Box2 is designed as a compact plastic housing measuring 79 × 71 × 30 mm and weighing 60 g.
Plastic Housing with Labelling
The white plastic housing bears the lettering “HTemp-1Wire Box2” and the HW group logo on the top and is intended for wall mounting.
Two RJ11 Jacks
On the front are two RJ11 jacks side by side. One is used to connect the box to an HW group device; the second allows another 1-Wire sensor to be connected in series (daisy chain).
Internal Sensors
Inside the housing are the semiconductor sensors for temperature and relative humidity, which have contact with the ambient air via side openings.
Mounting Bracket
On the underside of the housing is a mounting bracket for screw fixing to the wall.
IP30 Protection Rating
The housing is protected to IP30 and is therefore designed for dry indoor use.
Daisy-Chain with Multiple Sensors
Thanks to the two RJ11 ports, multiple HTemp-1Wire-Box2 sensors can be connected one after another to an HW group device.
