The NB-2x1Wire TSET from HW group is a compact and powerful device for IoT monitoring of environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, voltage, light, CO2, or VOC. Designed for use in server rooms, warehouses, offices, or industrial environments, it enables remote monitoring of up to four 1-Wire or 1-Wire UNI sensors via two RJ11 ports.
Thanks to Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) technology, it offers reliable, wireless data transmission with low energy consumption. The TSET package includes everything needed for a quick start, including a 3-year NB-IoT SIM card, a temperature sensor, and a power adapter. Integration with the SensDesk portal or the free HWg-Cloud makes monitoring and management simple and efficient.
Sensor Monitoring with 1-Wire Technology
The NB-2x1Wire TSET supports up to four 1-Wire or 1-Wire UNI sensors, enabling precise measurement of environmental values such as temperature, humidity monitoring, voltage, light intensity, CO2, or VOC. The sensors are connected via two RJ11 ports, each supporting up to two sensors.
Sensor monitoring is performed in real time, and the data is stored in an internal data logger that keeps historical values available for analysis. With HWg-PDMS software, this data can be exported to MS Excel, making it easy to create reports for HACCP requirements or other regulatory purposes.
Narrowband IoT for Reliable Connectivity
Narrowband IoT technology enables secure and energy-efficient data transmission, ideal for remote locations without LAN or WiFi infrastructure. The NB-2x1Wire TSET comes with a pre-installed NB-IoT SIM card, providing three years of usage, supplied by Vodafone and usable in most countries.
Network monitoring is performed via the SensDesk portal or the free HWg-Cloud, which supports up to 20 devices. For larger projects with over 200 devices, a dedicated SensDesk instance can be hosted. Device management and configuration are conveniently handled via the SensDesk Mobile App (iOS and Android).
Flexible Power Supply
The NB-2x1Wire TSET is designed for maximum flexibility. It is powered by an internal CR123A battery with a lifespan of up to three years, depending on the number of sensors and measurement intervals. Alternatively, the device can be operated via an external 5V power adapter, which is included in the TSET package. This dual power supply makes it ideal for use in environments without constant power supply, such as warehouses or temporary installations. Battery life is maximized by the energy-efficient NB-IoT operation, reducing maintenance costs.
Alerting and Notifications
The device offers comprehensive alerting options to enable immediate response to critical events. When predefined thresholds are exceeded, the NB-2x1Wire TSET sends notifications via email or HWg-Push to up to five recipients. SMS notifications are possible via an optional HWg-SMS-GW3 gateway.
Users can define individual alarm conditions, such as “Send an email when the temperature exceeds 25 °C.” The SensDesk platform also provides graphical reports and historical data that can be used for audits or long-term analysis. These features make the device ideal for temperature monitoring in sensitive areas such as pharmaceuticals or the food industry.
Easy Installation and Integration
Installation of the NB-2x1Wire TSET is straightforward and suitable even for beginners. The device comes with a robust metal housing, suitable for DIN rail mounting or rack mounting (with optional accessories).
Setup is performed via the SensDesk portal by entering the device hash from the device label. The device supports protocols such as SNMPv3, MQTT, and XML, making integration into IoT solutions or third-party systems easy. The HWg-SDK provides programming examples in C++, C#, PHP, and Java to support custom applications. SensDesk technology also enables data export in XML format or integration with SCADA systems.

The default preconfigured portal is HWg-cloud.com for remote management and configuration of the devices. Devices can be migrated to any other SensDesk Technology portal.
