The HW group 1WU-HTPVoC B1 is a unique sensor that protects comfortable conditions in work and living environments – with different value combinations for every home, office or public installation. It measures temperature (-30°C to +70°C), relative humidity (0–100 % RH), atmospheric pressure (30,000 to 110,000 Pa) as well as air quality as the concentration of volatile organic compounds (TVOC, 0 to 60,000 ppb).
Temperature, humidity, air pressure and TVOC sensors are housed in a small, elegant plastic enclosure (4x4 cm) and can be placed on the wall, ceiling or desk. Thanks to its small size and low weight, the sensor can be attached with double-sided adhesive tape. A detachable cable with RJ11 connectors (3 m, included) provides the connection to the 1-Wire UNI bus.

The 1WU-HTPVoC B1 is detected on the bus as four independent sensors and is suitable for a wide range of indoor applications.
Temperature (-30°C to +70°C)
Resolution 0.1°C, with an accuracy of ±0.8°C (0°C to +60°C), ±1.0°C (-10°C to +70°C) or ±2.0°C (-30°C to +80°C).
Relative humidity (0–100 % RH)
Accuracy 5 % RH in the range 20–80 % RH (non-condensing, 25°C), resolution 0.3 % RH.
Atmospheric pressure (300–1000 hPa)
Accuracy 12 Pa (95,000–105,000 Pa at 25°C) or absolute accuracy 100 Pa (30,000–110,000 Pa, -20°C to 65°C), resolution 10 Pa, temperature coefficient 1.5 Pa/K.
Air quality / TVOC (0–60,000 ppb)
Accuracy 15 %, resolution 1 ppb (in the range 0–2008 ppb) – detects the concentration of volatile organic compounds in the air.
1x RJ11 (1-Wire UNI)
Communication interface via the 1-Wire bus; maximum cable length 30 m from the active port, maximum 1 sensor per RJ11 (1WU) port.
Bus-powered
Powered with 5V directly via the 1-Wire (UNI) port (current consumption approx. 15 mA), no separate power supply required.
How the 1WU-HTPVoC B1 is designed
The compact, elegant plastic enclosure measures approximately 40 x 40 x 20 mm (W x H x D) and weighs about 35 g, with IP30 protection rating for SoHo environments. Operating conditions: -30°C to +70°C at 0–100 % RH (storage: -50°C to +70°C, 0–100 % RH).
Compact wall, ceiling or desk enclosure
Small 4x4 cm plastic enclosure that can be mounted on the wall or ceiling or attached to a desk with double-sided adhesive tape.
Detachable RJ11 connection cable
A detachable 3 m cable with RJ11 connectors (included) connects the sensor to the 1-Wire UNI bus of a compatible measuring device.
Combined measuring unit for 4 values
An integrated semiconductor measuring unit simultaneously provides temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure and TVOC air quality; the sensor is managed on the bus as four independent individual sensors.
No galvanic isolation
The sensor is not galvanically isolated from the 1-Wire UNI bus. A unit converter and calibration points are not available.
Installation and use
- Connect the sensor to any HW group measuring device (RJ11 cable included)
- Switch on the device and let it search for sensors
- Temperature, humidity and air pressure values are available immediately
Important: The TVOC sensor must first be calibrated in its environment. Calibration takes 10 days; during this time the rooms must be ventilated regularly and thoroughly, at least twice a day. The ppb values are also only available 10 seconds after switching on the sensor.

The sensor can be connected via the RJ11 connector to all common measuring devices from HW group, depending on the desired connectivity.

Commissioning in a few steps
The 1WU-HTPVoC B1 is detected and configured directly via the connected HW group device.
- Place the sensor on the wall, ceiling or desk (optionally attach with double-sided adhesive tape)
- Connect the sensor to a compatible LAN, WiFi, GSM/LTE or NB-IoT device from HW group using the supplied 3 m RJ11 cable
- Switch on the device and let it automatically detect the sensor
- Allow the TVOC sensor to calibrate in the environment (10 days, regular ventilation at least twice a day)
- Set limit values for temperature, humidity, air pressure and air quality as well as the desired alarm types

Practical application examples
Thanks to its flexibility, the 1WU-HTPVoC B1 is suitable for integration into air conditioning systems, intelligent building management systems, schools and residential buildings. The air pressure sensor is also useful for weather forecasting or for detecting pressure loss in rooms with overpressure or underpressure.
Practical example: In an office, the 1WU-HTPVoC B1 is mounted on the ceiling and connected to the network via a LAN-capable Perseus device. The device continuously monitors temperature, humidity, air pressure and TVOC air quality. If the TVOC concentration rises above 660 ppb ("Poor"), the Perseus device sends a notification to the facility management so that ventilation can take place in good time.
