The Compact Indoor Climate Sensor for Wall, Ceiling or Table
The HW group 1WR-HTemp B1 is a combined sensor for temperature (-30 °C to +70 °C) and relative humidity (0 to 100 % RH) with RJ11 interface for indoor use. It is compatible with all HW group remote monitoring devices and is housed in a small, attractively designed plastic enclosure.
Flexible placement: The 1WR-HTemp B1 can be mounted on the wall, on the ceiling or placed freely on a table. Because it is small and light, it can even be fixed with double-sided adhesive tape if required, without any drilling. Connection is via a detachable cable with RJ11 plugs; a 3-metre RJ11 cable is already included in the scope of delivery.
Designed for many locations: The sensor is suitable for monitoring in households, commercial and school buildings and also supports a wide range of measuring and control projects.
Two Measured Values in an Elegant Housing
The 1WR-HTemp B1 delivers two measured values in a single, unobtrusive housing and can be easily connected to existing HW group systems.
Temperature Measurement
Measuring range -30 to +70 °C, with graded accuracy from ±0.8 °C (0 to +60 °C) to ±2.0 °C at the edge of the measuring range.
Humidity Measurement
Measuring range 0 to 100 % RH, accuracy 5 % RH in the range 20 to 80 % RH at 25 °C, non-condensing.
RJ11 / 1-Wire Connection
Digital connection via an RJ11 jack to the 1-Wire bus; the bus may be up to 60 metres long in total.
Wide Compatibility
Connectable to Ares, NB-2x1Wire, Poseidon2, SD-2x1Wire, STE2 R2 and other HW group remote monitoring devices.
Detachable Cable
3-metre RJ11 cable included in the scope of delivery; can be removed and replaced if required.

How the 1WR-HTemp B1 Is Built
The 1WR-HTemp B1 is designed as a compact cube measuring 40 × 40 × 20 mm and weighing only 15 g.
Plastic Housing with Ventilation Slots
The small, white plastic housing has several ventilation slots on one side through which ambient air reaches the internal sensors for temperature and relative humidity.
RJ11 Jack
On the underside of the housing is an RJ11 jack through which the sensor is connected via the 1-Wire bus to an HW group device. Power is also supplied with 5 V via the same line.
Detachable Connection Cable
Connection is made via a detachable cable with RJ11 plugs at both ends. A 3-metre cable is included in the scope of delivery and can be replaced with another RJ11 cable if required.
Mounting Holes and Adhesive Surface
The housing has mounting points for screw fixing; alternatively, thanks to its low weight, it can simply be fixed in the desired location with double-sided adhesive tape.
IP30 Protection Rating
The housing is protected to IP30 and is therefore designed for dry indoor use, but not against splash water.

Mount the Sensor
The 1WR-HTemp B1 is mounted where temperature and humidity are to be monitored – on the wall, on the ceiling, on a table or with double-sided adhesive tape on almost any surface.
Connect via RJ11
Using the supplied 3-metre RJ11 cable, the sensor is connected to an HW group device such as Poseidon, Ares or STE.
Monitor and Alarm
Once the sensor is connected, live data can be retrieved via LAN or GSM, alarms can be set for threshold violations, and values can be viewed via web statistics or an app – depending on the connected HW group device.
