Installation and Setup
Installation of the Vibration Sensor / Glass Break Sensor is simple. The sensor can be mounted on solid surfaces with screws or on glass with adhesive tape. The vibration sensor is adjusted to the desired sensitivity using a trimmer (turning towards "+" increases sensitivity). The reed contact is combined with an external magnet to detect openings.
The sensor is powered by a 12V DC power supply (not included) and is connected to the monitoring system via digital inputs (dry contact). The tamper contact protects against unauthorized tampering by means of a mechanical switch that is triggered when the housing is opened.
