The HW-group Poseidon2 3268 Series (consisting of Poseidon2 3268 and Poseidon2 3268 Tset) is an advanced system for remote monitoring and control of sensors and digital inputs/outputs over a network.

The Poseidon2 3268 Series sends alarms via email, SMS (via SMS Gateway HWg-SMS-GW3 - sold separately, not included), or SNMP monitoring and stores up to 250,000 measurements in the internal data logger.
The Poseidon2 3268 Tset variant additionally includes a 3 m temperature sensor, a door contact, and a power supply, while the standard version (Poseidon2 3268) is delivered without accessories. With an integrated web server, support for secure M2M protocols (HTTPs, IPv6, SNMPv3, Modbus/TCP, MQTT), and integration into the SensDesk Portal, the series is ideal for IoT monitoring and industrial applications.

Alarms are sent via email, SMS (via HWg-SMS-GW3), or SNMP trap, with recipients configured in the device or in software such as HWg-Trigger.
The SensDesk Portal (paid) offers a central platform for visualization and management of sensor data, accessible via web or mobile app. The HWg-PDMS software enables analysis and export of data to Excel, while the HWg-SDK makes it easier for developers to integrate into their own applications. For third-party systems such as Nagios, a plugin is available, and MQTT support enables connection to IoT platforms.
Installation and Setup
Installation is simple: The device is connected to the network via an Ethernet cable (10/100 Mbit/s), and power is supplied via a 9–30 V power supply or a screw terminal. Sensors are connected to the RJ11 sockets (up to 8 sensors via daisy-chain or hub), and dry contacts to the digital inputs.
Configuration is done via the web interface by entering the IP address in the browser. Recipients for alarms (email, SMS) are defined in the device or in software such as HWg-Trigger. For SMS alerting, an HWg-SMS-GW3 is required in the LAN.
The HWg-Config software supports initial configuration, and a factory reset is possible within 60 seconds after switching on. For use with the SensDesk Portal, the device must be accessible via a public IP address or VPN.
