The HW group 1WR-Temp Outdoor 3m is a simple digital temperature sensor specifically developed for outdoor use. The waterproof housing (IP67) made of stainless steel 17241 is mounted on a 3-metre long PVC cable. The sensor uses an RJ11 plug and communicates via the 1-Wire bus, enabling simple and stable connection to various controllers and monitoring systems.
Thanks to its high-quality stainless-steel housing and IP67 protection rating, the sensor is completely waterproof and dust-tight. How the Sensor Is Built
The 1WR-Temp Outdoor 3m consists of a rod-shaped stainless-steel probe, a PVC cable and an RJ11 plug for connection to an HWg device.
Measuring Tip Made of Stainless Steel
The actual temperature measurement takes place in the rod-shaped stainless-steel housing (material 17241). This is classified according to IP67 and is therefore completely protected against dust as well as against temporary immersion in water.
3-Metre PVC Cable
A 3-metre long PVC cable leads from the housing to the connection point, so that the sensor can be placed flexibly even if the monitoring device is mounted some distance away.
RJ11 Plug
At the end of the cable there is an RJ11 plug. The sensor is connected to the 1-Wire input of an HW group device via this plug and is simultaneously supplied with 5 V.
1-Wire Bus
Via the 1-Wire bus the sensor delivers its temperature measured value digitally to the connected device. Depending on the device, multiple 1-Wire sensors can be operated together on one bus.
Compatible HWg Devices
The sensor is compatible with all HW group remote monitoring devices that have a 1-Wire input, for example Poseidon2, Ares, STE2 or Perseus Monitoring.
